Chosen for the Family

In many families there is that chosen individual that God has called to redeem his/her family.  Oftentimes because they are chosen, God will allow their lives to be misunderstood; thus resulting in persecution and rejection.  There remains a reproach over their lives not because of anything they have done, but because God has allowed them to suffer outside the camp!  Just as Jesus was called to His own but was not received by them and suffered outside the camp.  We also are called to redeem those that are of our own kindred who seemingly do not receive us.

In the strange way that God has lead our lives He has required from us a standard that will not allow for compromise.  Now, I am not talking about compromising a law but a spoken word from God for our lives.  In our heart of hearts we know we cannot “go that way”! 

However, it is in keeping that standard that we see the supernatural power of God unfold and bring our families into the revelation of Jesus Christ!  “,”…so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous” Rom. 5:20 It may not happen overnight.  But by keeping the spoken word He has given to us alone, we will experience the power of “a God-Word”.

The Word of God is a two-edged sword.  It brings blessings or judgment. By obeying that word we have become that word in the earth.  Jesus said, “… the word that I have spoken, the same will judge…”John 12:48  “For judgment I came into this world…”John 9:39 He was the standard, that by His obedience judgment fell on His own kindred.

Judgment is a reaction to disobedience to the Word of God.  We become that word of God that those around us reject and fall into judgment by our obedience.  There has to be a word for judgment to fall. Therefore, I encourage you to be obedient to what God has spoken into your life; henceforth, those loved ones will receive the evidence of His quickening power unto salvation.

Rest assured, your steadfastness to endure unto obedience will empower the will of God to be performed in every family member!
